U30 Detector
A Detector for serious study of ultrasound

The U30 Bat Detector is a high-sensitivity detector with a miniature ultra-low-noise microphone, which can be operated more than 10 m away from the detector. The Detector has 2 detection systems - tuned (15-200 kHz) and a broadband frequency-division system with 3 selectable divide-by-N ratios. An efficient power management system enables operation for long periods off a pair of any type of AA cells. The U30 Detector has a high-frequency response extending well beyond 200 kHz, making it ideal for detailed study of animal sonar using the Portable Ultrasound Processor.
